Kendra has a rich background in non-profit work and currently serves as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in a school setting, where she provides short-term individual and group counseling to students. Her role involves helping students develop self-awareness, manage their emotions, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. Kendra also focuses on boosting self-confidence and self-advocacy, empowering students to succeed both academically and personally. Additionally, she provides parent coaching and caregiver support, assisting families in navigating challenges while fostering positive communication and connection.
Her extensive experience in non-profit organizations supporting neurodiverse populations and individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) has provided her with an understanding of these unique challenges.
